  I have not had an animal for a long time and when I got a puppy for mothers day one of my co workers recommended for me to take them to Dr. Bessmer. I have had a great experience with them. I had an emergency with my puppy and could not get a hold of anyone since it was after hours and I was panicking. I got a call back from elk creek and they had me bring him in right away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. He had to stay a few days and they would call and keep me updated on how he was dong. I would definitely recommend this clinic to everyone.

  Dr. Bessmer at Elk Creek has been a terrific vet to our pets. Right after we moved to town, we had an after hours emergency and he was the only vet in town willing to see us as an unestablished patient. Ever since, we have happily brought all our pets to him and will gladly recommend him to others.

  Dr. Bessmer and his staff are Absolutely outstanding. I've always taken my dachshund and two cats here. They've always spoiled them rotten and made us feel at home. The staff are kind and compassionate, offering to do a urine sample for free when my cat was having trouble. You truly get the vibe that they care about the animals. They kept me updated with every procedure, even with simple sprays/neuters. I referred Elk Creek to two of my friends when they got puppies- we now all rant and rave about how caring Dr. Bessmer and his staff are! Simply the best!
